Steps to Install Pixie

Log in to cPanel.

Navigate to the Softaculous Apps Installer section.

Search for Pixie.
-
In the Softaculous dashboard, type Pixie in the search box.

Or browse under Blogs → Pixie.

Click Install.
-
The installation page will open.

Choose Protocol.

Select
https://orhttps://wwwif your site has an SSL certificate. -
Select
http://orhttp://wwwif SSL is not installed.

Choose Domain.
-
Select the domain where Pixie will be installed.

Set Directory.

Leave blank if you want Pixie installed at the root (e.g.,
example.com). -
Enter a folder name (e.g.,
cms) if you want Pixie installed atexample.com/cms.

Configure Site Settings.

Site Name → Enter the title of your site.
-
Site Description → Enter a tagline or description.

Set Admin Account.
-
Admin Username → Choose a unique username.

Admin Password → Use a strong password (Softaculous provides a strength meter).

Admin Email → Enter the administrator’s email address.

Real Name → Enter the display name for the administrator.

Advanced Options (Optional).

Set database name and backup location.
-
Configure automated backups and rotation.

Enable email notifications for updates.

Install.
-
Review settings and click Install.

Wait for confirmation. Softaculous will display the Pixie login URL (e.g.,
example.com/admin.php).
