If you’ve created your site in Mozilla SeaMonkey Composer, you can publish it directly to your Ruachost hosting account using the built-in Publish feature. This guide walks you through the process.

Steps to Publish with SeaMonkey

  1. Open SeaMonkey Composer

    • Launch SeaMonkey.

    • From the Window menu, click Composer.

    • Open or create the page you want to publish.

  2. Start the Publish Process

    • From the File menu, click Publish.

    • Or click the Publish icon in the toolbar.

  3. Enter Publishing Settings

    • Site Name: Enter a descriptive name (e.g., Ruachost Website).

    • Publishing Address: ftp://ftp.example.com

      • Replace example.com with your domain.

      • If DNS isn’t yet updated, use your server’s hostname.

    • HTTP Address of Your Homepage: http://www.example.com

    • User Name: Your Ruachost/cPanel username.

    • Password: Your Ruachost/cPanel password.

      • (Optional) Check Save Password to avoid retyping.

  4. Set File Options

    • Go to the Publish tab.

    • Page Title: Adjust if needed (appears in browser title bar).

    • Filename: e.g., index.html.

    • Site Subdirectory for This Page: public_html

      • Add a subdirectory if you want to publish into a folder.

    • Check Include images and other files to upload supporting files.

  5. Publish Your Site

    • Click Publish.

    • SeaMonkey uploads your files to Ruachost.

  6. Verify Your Site

    • Open your domain in a browser to confirm your site is live.
