If you’ve built your site in NetObjects Fusion, you can publish it directly to your Ruachost hosting account using FTP/SFTP. This guide walks you through the setup and upload process.

Note
  • Make sure your domain is pointed to Ruachost nameservers.

  • Have your cPanel/hosting account username and password ready.

  • Know your server name or use your domain name if it already resolves to Ruachost.

Steps to Publish with NetObjects Fusion

  1. Open Your Project

    • Launch NetObjects Fusion and open the website project you want to publish.

  2. Open Publish Settings

    • From the Publish menu, select Publish Settings.

  3. Create a New Profile

    • Click New Profile.

    • Enter a descriptive name (e.g., Ruachost Hosting).

  4. Enter Server Details

    • Publish Method: Select FTP (or SFTP if available).

    • FTP Server: Your domain name (e.g., example.com).

      • If DNS isn’t yet pointed, use your server’s hostname.

    • Port: 21 for FTP, 22 for SFTP (or custom port if provided).

    • User Name: Your Ruachost/cPanel username.

    • Password: Your Ruachost/cPanel password.

    • Remote Directory: public_html

      • Add a subdirectory if you want to publish to a folder.

    • Web Address: http://www/example.com

  5. Test Connection

    • Click Test Connection.

    • If successful, you’ll see confirmation that Fusion connected to your server.

    • If not, verify your username, password, and port.

  6. Publish Your Site

    • From the Publish menu, select Publish Site.

    • Choose your new profile.

    • Select Entire Site for the first upload.

    • Click Publish.

    • Fusion uploads your files to Ruachost.

  7. Verify Your Site

    • Open your domain in a browser to confirm your site is live.

Troubleshooting

  • Login errors → Double-check username, password, and port.

  • Files not visible → Ensure you’re uploading to public_html.

  • Domain not resolving → Confirm nameservers are set to Ruachost and allow up to 48 hours for DNS propagation.
