Setting the Name Servers for a Domain Registered at GoDaddy
If your domain is registered with GoDaddy and you’re hosting your website on ruachost.com, you’ll need to update your name servers so your domain points to your hosting account.
What Are Name Servers?
Name servers help connect your domain name (like example.com) to the correct web hosting server. Every domain needs at least two name servers — a primary and a secondary — to make sure your website remains accessible even if one server is temporarily unavailable.
How to Update Your GoDaddy Name Servers
Follow these steps to set your domain’s name servers in your GoDaddy account:

Follow the instructions provided in the article.

When asked, select “Enter my own nameservers (advanced).”

Enter the name servers provided in your ruachost.com Hosting Panel (for example,
ns1.ruachost.comandns2.ruachost.com).
Your name servers may vary depending on your hosting plan and the server your account is on, so always confirm the correct details from your hosting panel or account dashboard.
After Updating Your Name Servers
Once you make the change, it can take up to 24 hours for DNS propagation to complete. This delay is normal and happens across all hosting providers.
During this period, you might notice the following:

Your website may not load using your domain name.

Email services connected to your domain (POP3, IMAP, SMTP, or webmail) may not work until DNS propagation finishes.
